Former Jeffersonville resident Nate Pederson looks on after two plaques were unveiled on a pergola at Preservation Park in Jeffersonville on Monday evening. A poem by Galileo Galilei is on one plaque, and a commemoration in honor of Pederson's efforts to save the Concord grape vine that the pergola was built for in 2012 is on the other.
