Emergency personnel work the scene of an accident involving a female pedestrian and a vehicle driven by an officer with the New Albany Police Department at the corner of Elm and State streets that occurred at about 12:50 p.m. Wednesday. The victim was transported off the scene by ambulance with minor injuries, and NAPD Chief Todd Bailey said that the Indiana State Police will be investigating the incident.
