Participants in the 27th annual Fast Freddie's Festive Five-Mile Foot Feast make their way along Green Valley Road at the beginning of the race Thursday morning in New Albany. More than 1,100 runners participated in the event, which includes two-mile and a five-mile races. Rob Mullett, Indianapolis, finished first in the mens division with a time of 23:29.99, and Sarah Pease, Bloomington, placed first in the womens division with a time of 27:30.48. Mullet broke the previous mens record of 23:55 set by Cory Thorne in 2009, and Pease broke the previous womens record of 27:53 that she set in 2011. Staff photo by Christopher Fryer
