Yenawine descendants, Derek Criner, Clarksville, a great grandson, and his niece, Kessa Kemmer, 8, Jeffersonville, a great great granddaughter, search the Town Carnival Diorama of The Yenawine Dioramas during a scavenger hunt following an opening ceremony for the folk art exhibit at the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library in downtown New Albany on Thursday evening. Merle Yenawine created about 60 dioramas in the mid-twentieth century and 14 of them are on display in the exhibit, which moved to the library from the Carnegie Center for Art and History in November of last year.
